Simplicity of Tarot

When I say ‘Anybody can become a Tarot Card reader’, you probably wouldn’t believe me, would you? Well that’s because people have glamorize Tarot to be an art hardly anyone can master, which I completely don’t believe in. I believe Tarot is by far the simplest forms of divination, because it only works on energies.

simplicity of tarot pic2.jpgUnlike Astrology and other divination forms, you don’t have to master all the planets and what they say and what they mean. All you have to master is yourself, and that’s what Tarot teaches you. To get in tuned with your higher self in order to know where your deepest desires lie and how to manifest them. Let me give you a simple exercise. Look at this card below. What do you feel it may mean? What does it tell you? Try to analyze what’s happening in the card here. There’s a man holding a staff in his right hand, and a rose in the other, hopefully looking above the sky, as if he has nothing to worry about, he just goes walking where destiny leads him. This man looks carefree, as though he is ready to face anything that comes his way, full of dreams and aspirations, he goes on to follow his path, maybe mumbling a malodorous tune. That’s why he’s called ‘The Fool’.

Now, do you know anyone like this in your surroundings, perhaps you? How much do you resonate with The Fool? Does he remind you of your desires, dreams, and hopes?

The reason for this experiment was to make you understand how every card brings out a reflection of you or someone you know. This is the first card of the deck, and every card after this leads to the other in such a way that the deck is incomplete without even one card. Some people say that the whole Tarot Deck is the Fool’s Journey, i.e Your Journey. How he meets other former cards, learns values like leadership, creativity, control, love, power from them and applies it to his life.

The Tarot helps you dig in deeper to your psyche, your mind, and your soul and bring out the best in you and others seeking help, and the cards are so easy to read because you will always find a personality as shown in the cards, in your life as well!

So, are you ready to break the Tarot-learning stereotype and transform your life through Tarot?

This poem always reminds me that we, as women are so powerful because of the way we love so fiercely, as though the world is our home and we feel the need to make everyone living in it free and at ease. And that’s exactly what the Daughter of Wands reflects in her character. This card is a clear interpretation of the fact that your very life itself is a work of art. You are being asked to step forward into something that resonates with your authentic self.Woman, you have the ability to make the world a more beautiful place. Saturday when I went to pick up my child from her dance class, I stumbled upon an ikebana exhibition next to her class. This simple flower arrangement symbolizes not only aesthetic beauty but something that touches the inner self Zen philosophy believes in concentration and practice. Ikebana focuses on inner stillness leading to an enriched sense of self which comes with practice ,discipline and awareness. Awareness of being in the moment. The arrangement of the flowers were so simple, and yet their beauty spoke volumes. The more I saw, the calmer and quiet I became. What must the artist have gone through before the final arrangement was reached? Journeys are not only about destinations but the process as well. So often I have found myself enjoying the process .
Ikebana art is not only about beauty. It is about the marriage of beauty and simplicity. The blend that brings up the best combination soothing to the heart and mind and pleasing and attractive to the eye. I enjoyed the evening. I went back home in a much calmer and appreciative state of mind. This is usually felt when I have been doing my meditation processes and experienced the inner journey. Healing sessions with music, have left me calm and soothed from within. Connecting to you inner ‘zen’ during healing and meditation sessions is always a humbling experience that emphases just how simple, honest and open a life we can lead. When we are focused and in the moment we reach a state of ‘zen’. The more clarity of mind we experience, the more intense is the overall experience. Just like the arrangement of flowers and branches we create in effect, the calm that nature brings to us.

My body is my friend

Our body is made up of cells and each of these cells has its own intelligence and memory. The cells in our body are constantly imbibing everything that we hear and all that is going on around us. All information, positive and negative, is stored in the cellular memory and the cells respond accordingly. For example when you keep saying : I am so fat, it is difficult for me to lose weight, – this is all that your cells are hearing and so they respond to these statements – by holding on to the fat – so that your statement “ I am so fat ‘ remains so in your reality.
As you learn to talk to your body lovingly and positively – it responds to you in a positive manner. Issues of weight loss, ugliness, and complexion are no longer a struggle. Consider your body as your friend and walk the path together. Thus making the journey one of least effort and most results. Respect your body’s intelligence by talking AND listening to it.

In the morning as you begin your day and in the night as you end your day – use the technique to talk to your body and watch amazing results.
Lovingly touch your skin and talk to your body. Say that you love your body and thank it for functioning in wonderful order. Thank your body for serving you and your life purpose.

When you are trying to lose weight, or gain weight or removal of disease or any work with the body, understand you are not alone in it. Your body is an integral part of it and of you. Make your body your friend and work with it, rather than taking it for granted and just “doing to” or even experimenting the body.

For weight loss: a minute just prior to beginning your exercise routine, speak to your body lovingly. Assure your body that you will respect its limits. Affirm to yourself: My body is of the weight best suited for me to be healthy’. All excess weight is easily and effortlessly being dropped. Also add that you are helping your body drop all the excess weight. You both are working together towards good health.

For disease: Speak to your body that you are ready to release the pile up of past emotions and that it need not store these past emotions in your body. Ask the body for it to be released gently, just as much as you can handle. Affirm to yourself: “The past no longer exists. I let go easily and gently.” “I love myself, I value myself.”

For beauty: Move your palms on your face, feeling the smoothness of your skin. Talk to your body to release all toxins, emotional and physical, that keep your skin from its natural glow. Affirm to yourself, preferably, in front of the mirror “My skin is radiant and healthy. I am happy. I am a beautiful child of the Universe.

As you practice talking to your body, it will respond to you. You now need to learn to listen to your body and understand these responses. You will suddenly be attracted towards certain type of foods more than you have ever been. You might want to try new foods. If your body requires movement, you will be drawn to new forms of exercise, dance or walk. Whatever no longer serves you to remain healthy the body will simply reject. You will find your body rejecting foods that you may have always been eating. The body rejects by – lack of taste, upset stomach, sweat. Never force your body – for anything. It is simply disrespectful. Make your body your friend today, the rewards are sweet.

As I go through life, there are so many things that I want to do. My actions at each stage of life, I believe are based on so many different factors. But am I responsible for my actions or is it the others that have to bear that cross. Some of our actions make us successful and bring about a positive change in our life and some bring about a negative. We often tend to look back and feel just as good about the past as we feel ashamed. There are some incidents we are proud of and some which make us feel ashamed. There are incidents that still come to my mind.
People who have come up the hard way sometimes are uncomfortable talking about their past. They somewhere tend to forget that it is this past that has made them and be what they are. There is a feeling to alienate oneself from the previous surroundings and look towards the bright future only. Maybe a question at this point needs to be asked. If our past embarrasses us, how will we be able to be proud about our future? Every phase of life is a learning experience and it is up to us what to make of such an experience. If we are in a position to look at the positive side of every experience, we have no need to feel ashamed at all. There are so many examples of people being bus conductors, delivery boys, sales girls, ticket checkers who have climbed the pinnacle of success today. It is their then surrounding that further gave rise to their need to taste success. A foundation that is built in difficult times can rarely be weak. When we feel ashamed, we are feeling ashamed with a part of ourselves. Completion leads to achievement. When we have come to terms, accepted and are complete with the past. Then miraculously the doors of rewards, success and good fortune open up to you.

Depression is a luxury.Can you afford it ?

In this beautiful world, feeling depressed is a luxury we cannot afford.
Look around you as you may be walking, talking, dancing or doing anything and everything. See the energy, the bustle, the dynamism. It is all a constant exchange of energy around you. super-yachtPositive and free-flowing in some areas and negative and blocked in some areas. The world is beautiful made up of brilliant colours, shapes, sizes and a spectrum of emotions that take you from one side of the spectrum to another. You have come here with a purpose to do what you have to. You have come here with a plan. But we may deter or deviate from our plans. If we go down a road that we enjoy and see positive results, we appreciate the path roads that lead us nowhere or to placed dark and deep can leave us feeling disgruntled, upset and depressed as well.
But remember, that in your plan there is no space for any depression. When there is so much that you have to achieve there can be no room for you to sit and be depressed. Depression becomes a luxury for you that does not fit in our game plan. Why should we be depressed? When we know what choices to make and what will come out of those choices, then why feel depressed? Think properly, plan carefully and focus on your goals. Surround yourself with positive energy and focus so that you cannot deviate from the path that you have chosen. Depression will make you go ten steps back, make you lose focus and you might not even end up with the results that you want. For some such luxuries are to be avoided. Today co create your own future. There are miles before you can sleep, so there is no room for such luxuries in your game plan. Choose energy, action and life.
